Sunday, November 22, 2008 - Buffalo, New York

I’m convinced that every bit of touring we have ever done was pointless. One of the 2 places we do good in on tour (Buffalo NY) failed us. We have played Buffalo seriously like 6 or 7 times I think, and this was the worst. We are progressively getting less and less popular. If it's because of our "drastic change of style" then I’m sorry. I’m sorry for wanting to grow as a band and mature as a songwriter. But then again, no one even gave a flying fuck about the 3 songs from our first cd that we played, so that just plain makes me think that people are tired of us altogether. All the same people were there that always came out to see us before, but this time none of them moved at all. We never really had many places that responded well to our live shows, and now that's one more down the drain.

Thank You.
Every single band blew us offstage.

It’s like that every night anyways, but this time was different. It was one of the few places we thought that we could count on having a good show when we come through. What the fuck.
Whatever, that just tells me that they didn't even like our music to begin with, we were just a passing phase for them. I’d rather have 10 real fans than 10 million kids that only like us because we're a band you can mosh to, or a band that has some phony hype surrounding them. Sometimes I seriously feel like the last 2 or so years of touring in this band have been completely pointless. Everyone pisses me off so fucking much.

I have to stop writing in this now before I say something I wish I didn't make public.
